The first major update for Slide It! is nearing completion. This update, in my honest opinion, greatly improves the usability and replay-value of Slide It!
New in Slide It! v1.1:
- First generation iPhone and iPod Touch compatibility
- Auto-save/Resume: If you accept a call or exit the game while playing, there will be an option to resume the next time you go to start a game
- Tiles now slide in real-time with your finger
- You can now tap slots to perform a slide. This feature can be set to single-tap, double-tap, or off in the game settings
- When sliding tiles, the tile(s) that will appear next are shown while your finger remains touching the screen
- Achievements! There are now 16 achievements that you can unlock while playing:
- Aphrodite's Heir: Attain a 50x multiplier with the red heart tiles
- Luck o' the Irish: Attain a 50x multiplier with the green club tiles
- Diamonds are Forever: Attain a 50x multiplier with the blue diamond tiles
- Ace of Spades: Attain a 50x multiplier with the yellow spade tiles
- Double Down: Make 2 matches in 1 move
- Triple Play: Make 3 matches in 1 move
- Full Spectrum Slider: Attain a 20x multiplier on all four tile types
- Down to the Wire: Complete Level 9 or above with less than 3 seconds remaining
- Flawless Victory: Score 10,000 points without making a mistake
- Shoot from the Hip: Score 10,000 points using only the tap-to-slide feature
- Speedster: Complete Levels 1-9 in less than 60 seconds
- Chain Lightning: Attain a 100x multiplier with any tile type
- Novice Slider: Attain a score of 3,000
- Expert Slider: Attain a score of 15,000
- Master Slider: Attain a score of 50,000
- God of Slide: Attain a score of 100,000
You can view the Achievements in the game by selecting Achiements on the Leaderboard
- Two tile/slot themes are now selectable on the settings screen: Classic and Chrome
- Other graphic updates: Buttons, Backdrops, Overlays
- Scoring Changes: Making 2 or 3 matches in a single move will net bonus points
