I've just purchased the game. I just hope you won't drop the price too fast!

Anyway, it's a great game. Nice concept.

I also like the new planned features. They would make the game even better.

However, I'd like to suggest to along with "slide" an alternative method to move rows and columns: tap the goal slot.

Sometimes I can't slide properly and tap the slot would be a lot easier IMO. OK, maybe not a lot but it'd be very handy for sure.

In addition, a resume game is really necessary. Sometimes I can't finish a game and I've noticed that when I start Slide It again my started game is gone for good.

Your suggestion about tapping the goal slots is a great idea! In order to avoid unintentional slides, we'll probably make it a double tap on the goal slots. Also, this obviously will only work for goal slots on the outside of the board, but I think this new input option will be helpful to many. We'll add it as a planned feature and try to get that included in the first major update.

You're absolutely right about the lack of a resume feature. It's something we are aware of and are building into the first major update.

Yes. I see. It's important to avoid slide by accident.

Then you could add a two tap steps:

1. First tap would highlight the slot (maybe an overlay arrow indicating the direction)
2. Second tap would commit the action

By the way, can we expect a new version still this year?

If you are afraid that some users would not like that you can make an option to disable this sliding method.

Anyway, I'm sure that a single tap (considering all the puzzle games I've played so far, since my Palm III) is the way to go.

Great idea. We'll set this as an option in the settings: Taps to Slide - Off/Single/Double

We are working hard to get a new major version (v1.1) out as soon as possible. Which features are included in that version and when the update is released are being evaluated now. We'll post an official version 1.1 announcement as soon as we've determined what the right course of action is.

Frankly, we are hoping to get v1.1 out by the end of the year. To do that, though, we need to hear from more players to make sure we're prioritizing the right features for the update and not wasting time on "improvements" that nobody is interested in.
